Day 1 – Welcome to Yorkshire*
Welcome to one of Britain's beautiful gems. Staying in the centre of Harrogate you can
unwind, dine, enjoy a walk around the beautiful town and explore the surrounding area and
relax (Betty;s Café is right next to the hotel). Enjoy a short evening talk after dinner giving
you a flavour of your touring days ahead.
Day 2 – Best of the Yorkshire Dales
During your spectacular journey in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales you explore the largest priory ruins in Britain at Fountains Abbey. Travel to Masham and enjoy a brewery tour and taste a real Yorkshire ale. In the afternoon try the fabulous Wensleydale cheese in the picturesque village of Hawes. Return to Harrogate via the picturesque route through Settle.
Day 3 – Breathtaking North York Moors
Yorkshire boasts two national parks and today you travel through the North York
Moors. Visit Goathland – also known as Hagsmeade in Harry Potter or Aidensfield in
Heartbeat. Explore the charming village and enjoy a cup of tea or quick lunch in these
stunning surroundings. Journey to Whitby and explore the old seaside town, climb the steps to the famous abbey or enjoy fish ‘n’ chips and be part of the hussle and bussle in this lively resort.
Day 5 – England's oldest visitor attraction*
Before heading back home why not visit the romantic village of Knaresborough. Take time to explore the many independent shops or maybe discover the powers of the Petrifying Well at Mother Shipton's Cave...
